Silent Sundays - Group Meditation

Every Sunday, 11am UK time

There is a quiet invitation waiting here, a doorway into the week that asks only that we close our eyes and allow the world, with all its voices, its demands and its lures and attractions , to soften at the edges. To come together in this way is to find a rare stillness—a shared silence that, far from being empty, is filled with the presence of each one of us, joined in a moment outside of time.

This is a time for us to return to the simplest part of ourselves: the self that does not strive or worry or reach to accomplish, but only sits in the vastness of what we understand as Being. Here, together, we practice something deeply elemental—closing our eyes to open our hearts, letting go of the ‘ten thousand things’ to rest in the one thing, to rest in that silent center which, in all our busyness, we often forget is there.

Each Silent Sunday is a quiet act of courage, a willingness to step back from the noise and let insight, clarity, and equanimity rise in us, not by force, but by the grace of our own surrender. And as we sit in this way, we create a new model for living—a model of being rooted in presence, a life built on the foundation of a shared, unspoken understanding.

Come as you are, and we will gather in simplicity and ease, with no agenda other than to listen—to listen not only to the silence around us but to the silence within and, perhaps, to hear something truer than the stories we tell ourselves, something more enduring than any thought.

This is not simply a practice but a kind of remembering, an invitation to come back to our most cantered selves, so that we may step back into the world a little more whole, a little more patient, and with a heart made spacious and free.
