STILL MOMENTS MEDITATION

ABOUT VEDIC MEDITATION

A quiet conversation
with the source of your life’s deepest possibility

Vedic Meditation is practiced using an effortless technique. This takes the form of an innocently repeated thought.

We call this a Mantra, which simply means: ‘A vehicle for the mind’.

Mantras are unique sounds or patterns of vibration. When inwardly repeated in a silent way, they begin to affect all that we feel, sense and think with — just as the sound of the sea, the wind in the trees, or falling rain will guide us effortlessly into a place of peace. A feeling of stillness. And a sense of true belonging.

“By closing our eyes in this way we develop a clearer view into what is actually present and what is really possible — helping us develop an openness and an emotional availability that brings us closer to genuine relationship.

It unlocks a doorway into full embodiment, so we can take our rightful place here and now, and fully inhabit our lives.

It gifts us a capacity to uniquely serve by carrying purpose and meaning into every meeting we have with the world.

It enlivens an appreciation of love as a medium for understanding and deepening shared experience.

And silence as a deep source of insight and creativity.”
